Our newly built house is located 20 meters from the sea and the first beach, on Adriatic Coast in a small Dalmatian place Tisno, between Zadar and Sibenik (near Vodice). From the balconies of our apartments is very beautiful view of the Tisno, Murter channel and the island of Murter. The beach is ideal for families. Also, if you own a boat, the location of our Apartments is suitable as a starting point to explore the nearby National Park Kornati. The house is situated in a quiet area in Tisno. Shops and restaurants are conveniently located and only a few minutes walk away.

TISNO, a town on the eastern coast of the island Murter, partly spreading on the mainland (Tisno Peninsula), 22 km northwest of Šibenik; population 1,431. It developed on the mainland and the island, on the narrowest part of the Murter Channel in the Straits of Murter (38 m), with a bridge spanning over it. Chief occupations include farming, wine production, olive growing, fishing and tourism. Tisno is situated on the regional road connecting the main road with the island of Murter. A picturesque town with a typical coastal scenery, nice beaches and well-maintained coast. Tisno has a few banks with cash machine, post office, internet cafes and tourist agency as well as a variety of bars and restaurants. During the main season there is a daily market in the square for fruit, vegetables and fish and there are supermarkets and other shops. The chief recreation in Tisno as well as on the whole island of Murter are yachting (Kornati, Telascica, the Krka Waterfalls), diving and other water sports. The traditional event, the Summer in Tisno (Tisnjansko Lito), is organized in the summer season. The drawbridge connecting the island of Murter with the mainland, situated in the centre of Tisno, is open during the tourist season every day from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
